A FASHION SHOW BASED ON HAUTE COUTURE AND HATS ‘DESIGN MADE OF CARTOON AND RIGID PAPER
Als offizieller Fotograf des Wiener Instituts für Italienische Kultur war es sehr wichtig, alle Elemente einer Modenschau zu erfassen. Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, mit sehr kirchlichen und professionellen, hochkarätigen Stylisten zu arbeiten und mit einem sehr unterschiedlichen Niveau zu arbeiten Von Erfahrungen. Die in den Habsburgs großartigen, malerischen Eingängen enthaltene Erscheinung war ein unvergesslicher Kontrast zu der kurzlebigen und lichtdurchlässigen Haut der Modelle.

I think fashion has been having many discussions recently on ethnicity, on gender, on sexuality. It’s a very current awareness – brands can no longer get away with having exclusively white-casted runway shows, gender and sexuality are no longer a black or white option, but rather a spectrum, models are coming out as being trans, intersex, etc. It really feels like an exciting time to be anything but ‘vanilla’, and it’s wonderful.

This project started thinking over an iREVOLUTION’s photographer,and reproducing some of the stylist choices conducted by Gregory Crewdson,precisely a staged photographer,who focused on finding the perfect light in order to give deep resonance to the same character shoot in the picture, by trying to enlighten his own personality, a mixture between the language of light and in a second place his/her own abilities including what exactly is the action shown,a sort of cinematographic story where ordinary life is eternalised at the point of becoming commendabl
